Welcome to the Lattice
One of humanity's most poignant and enduring struggles has been the search for room in which to live. We believe that if only we had our own space, away from others who are simply too different to endure, perhaps we could find peace -- and in pursuit of just that peace, ironically, destruction has flourished, all throughout our history. But, in the far future, this myth (like many others) will be shattered. We will reach to the stars, into the infinite Universe, and we will find more room than we could have imagined ... but it will not bring the peace that we seek.
